Anti-theft bottle tags are specialized security devices designed to protect bottled goods in retail environments. These tags, available in both RF 8.2 MHz and Acousto-Magnetic (AM) 58 kHz frequencies, feature a loop or clamp mechanism to securely attach around the neck of bottles. If a tagged bottle passes through the store’s corresponding EAS system gates without being deactivated or removed at the point of sale, an alarm will sound. The choice between RF and AM technology depends on the store’s existing EAS infrastructure, with each offering distinct detection characteristics.
