Concrete nails with head

Hardened nails for secure fixing in concrete and masonry – diameters 2.6–3.0 mm, lengths 16–40 mm

Concrete nails with head are robust wire nails designed for strong and lasting connections in concrete and other hard building materials. Thanks to their widened head, these nails ensure a safe grip and prevent pull‑through even in demanding installations. They are widely used for fastening wooden battens, panels, frames, skirting boards, and similar constructions directly onto concrete or masonry. Manufactured from hardened steel and available in galvanized or stainless finishes, they offer excellent corrosion resistance and reliable durability. With diameters ranging from 2.6 to 3.0 mm and lengths from 16 to 40 mm, they cover a broad spectrum of construction needs. Professionals appreciate their consistent driving performance, minimal wood splitting, and long‑lasting holding power for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Concrete nails with head are suitable when:

Tensile force is required: The head of the fastener presses the material to be fastened firmly against the substrate and prevents it from detaching. This is crucial when the fastened material is subjected to tensile forces (e.g., due to wind, its own weight, or other loads that try to pull the material away from the substrate).

Visible fastening points are acceptable: The head of the fastener remains visible after installation. This is not an issue in many construction applications (e.g., fastening profiles, battens, sheets, brackets, cable trays).

Thin materials are being fastened: The head provides a sufficient bearing surface to securely hold thin materials like sheets or foils without the fastener pulling through the material.

High clamping force is desired: The head creates a clamping effect between the fastener and the substrate, which ensures a stable and durable connection.

Applications

  • Fastening of wooden battens, profiles to concrete/masonry
  • Installation of cable trays and pipe clamps
  • Fastening of insulation materials (often with special insulation washers)
  • Assembly of sheets, metal profiles
  • Fastening of rails or guides
  • General construction and renovation works
