Thermo transfer labels are labels for barcode printers with thermal-transfer technology using an extra ribbon. Thermal-transfer labels have some advantages toward thermal-direct labels:
– No special thermo paper is required.
– Thermal transfer paper is cheaper than thermo-direct paper.
– The demands for the printing head is lower => higher durability
– Raised life span of the printing head
– Long lasting high quality labels
– Colour thermal transfer ribbons are available => multicolour imprints are possible
Especially for high-volume printing application we recommend thermal-transfer technology. Even if the barcode printers are slightly more expensive, the labels itself are cheaper and the durability of the printer is enhanced.

In the order case we need from you the following information:
- Size: Size of the label
- Quantity: Number of rolls
- Labels / roll: Number of the labels / roll
- IDM: Core diameter
- Adhesion: Permanent or removable
- Colour: white or coloured
Optionally in addition, if available:
Printer: Which printer is used in your company?
ODM: External diameter of the roll / maximum diameter of your printer.
Do these labels fit in our printer?
Basically, our thermal labels can be used in almost any barcode printer from various manufacturers. The most important criteria are the core diameter, the maximum outer diameter and the technology of printing (thermal direct or thermal transfer).
We supply labels for the following manufacturers:
Argox, Zebra, Intermec, TSC, Eltron, Datamax, Epson, Bizerba, Avery Dennison, Sato, Toshiba TEC
According to printer manufacturer and model, various core diameters can be used. There are 3 different dimensions, 25.4 mm (1 “), 38 mm (1.5 “) and 76 mm (3 “). Also the outer diameter of the label roll may vary.
