Two-line price guns are used for a combined price marking, where also coding types are required.
The first main application is the printing of expiry dates and prices on one label. The first line with smaller digits is used to print the date while the second line with larger digits is used for the pricing information. With preprinted labels, additional information like “Best before:” or similar imprints are used for even more customer information.
A second important application for two line price guns is the printing of two prices, either for special prices (standard price in the first line, special price with larger digits in the second line) or for special price offers by larger purchase quantities.
Last but not least, two line price guns, especially labelers of the series “L” and “T” are used for a combination of product information and price information. With preprinted labels, a lot of information can be printed on one label. This labeling machine is often used in grocery´s or within the food industry, where expiration date, date of manufacture or capacity must be printed on the product.
Two line printers can be used as one line price guns as well. These printers are very flexible and most popular in many shops and stores.
